By automating and standardizing the collection of information, the HP Online Support application reduced the amount of time it takes to service a customer.

This project is for migrating the content and functionality from Pre-merger HP and Compaq Content Repositories.

Content Authors creates the content using SoftQuad Xmetal tool by adhering to DTD where the content is stored centrally and managed in Documentum Repository. The Content process through Workflow and lifecycle where approved content will be provisioned using Web Cache and published in multiple formats to HP website. Contribution Have developed Interface for Data Logger, meter-reading instrument. The hand held device was provided by third party, to record the current meter reading. My component was retrieving the data into the hand held device, which will help the meter reader to refer the customer information and last reading details. The entered current reading updated in the database, based on which the billing details are generated. With this implementation customer benefited with accurate recording of meter reading and billing, and efficient utilization of resources including lesser manpower.
