Tues 18th Sept Theme ‘Africa’. New beavers joining. Investiture of Corbin Jones & Rafael Ruiz whose parents are invited to join us at 6pm.

Tues 25th Sept Theme ‘Africa’.

Fri 28th Sept / Sat 29th Sept. Beaver Sleepover for some.

Tues 2nd Oct Theme Bulbs & Rainmakers. Please bring Pringle Tubes. Lodge leaders will bring home planted bulbs to care for until Dec to present to Ryelands.

Sun 7th Oct. Harvest Church Parade. It is important that all beavers attend. Please meet outside church at 10.15am wearing full smart uniform and shiny shoes. Bring a little collection money and, if possible, a tin or packet of food which will be sent to the local church mission to help poor families. Immediately following the service we will move into the church hall to for A Moving On Ceremony for beavers, cubs & scouts changing sections. This should all be finished before noon. Families are very welcome to join us for Harvest & Moving On.

Tues 23rd Oct Theme ‘Saving Energy’. New beavers joining.

Tues 30th Oct Half Term No beavers.

Tues 6th Nov Theme ‘Country Code’ & rehearsal for Christmas entertainment.

Tues 13th Nov Theme ‘Leaves’ & rehearsal. Sat 17th Nov Fund raising Bag Packing at Morrison’s in Sutton. Letter to follow. It is expected that every family helps where possible.

Tues 20th Nov Theme ‘Christmas ‘ Rehearsal.

Sun 25th Nov. New this year church is offering a ‘Messy Church’ activity Creating Christingles. Details will follow and you can Attend as a family. It is the start of Advent.

Sun 2nd Dec. Toy Service Church Parade. Same arrangements as Harvest. Meet at church at 10.15am wearing full uniform & shiny shoes. Afterwards into Hall for Moving On Ceremony. Finish by 12 ish. This time please, where possible, bring along a toy, book, game etc unwrapped that will be given to needy children.

Tues 4th Dec Visit to Ryelands Methodist Home in Beddington Gardens, Wallington. Lodge leaders to bring back bulbs they have been caring for since Oct. Letter will follow but please note time changes due to resident’s tea time. 4pm – 5.30pm.

Sun 9th Dec. Christmas outing to visit Bocketts Farm, Leatherhead and meet Father Christmas. Details to follow.

Tues 11th Dec Beaver Christmas Party to end the term apart from tomorrow.

Wed 12th Dec District cinema in our church showing ‘Nativity’ film. 4.30pm – 7pm. All beavers & cubs in Sutton District invited. Letter to follow.

The next term will start on Tuesday 8th January 2013.
