A RESOLUTION Adjourning the Senate in Loving Memory and Honor of Ronald Allen Boone

A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Ronald Allen Boone. With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Ronald Allen Boone, and we pause in silent reverence for his soul. WHEREAS, Ronald Allen Boone was born on December 28, 1940, a native of Corbin, Whitley County, Kentucky, and longtime resident of Elizabethtown, Hardin County, Kentucky; and he traversed these earthly bounds on February 1, 2004; and WHEREAS, Ronald Allen Boone was the loving son of Sue Livesay Sweeney of Columbus, Ohio, and the late Paul Boone; he was the devoted husband of Judy Wright Boone of Elizabethtown; he was the loving father of a daughter, Kelly Gray of Louisville, and a son, John Charles "Buzzy" Boone of Lexington; and he was the proud grandfather of three grandchildren, Matthew Gray, Hannah Gray, and Emma Boone; and he also leaves behind a loving sister, Gretchen Eagle of Indianapolis, Indiana, and a loving brother, Winton Boone of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and WHEREAS, Ronald Allen Boone was an esteemed member of the Hardin County community, where he was an active member of Memorial United Methodist Church, where he participated in the Bible and Love Sunday school class; he was active in the Elizabethtown Emmaus Community; he had been affiliated with Hardin County news since 1973, and at the time of his passing, he was News Director at Elizabethtown

Commonwealth Broadcasting Company; and WHEREAS, the passing of Ronald Allen Boone has left a void that cannot be filled, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Ronald Allen Boone, and extends to his family and many friends its most

heartfelt sympathy. Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Ronald Allen Boone. Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit copies of this Resolution to Mrs. Judy Wright Boone, 418 Nevis Drive, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42701; and to Mr. Brian Walker, The News Enterprize, 408 West Dixie Avenue, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42701.
