Monday, Sept. 26: Decade Day  Students will dress representing a particular decade: 2017- 90s, 2018 – 80s, 2019 – 70s, 2020 - 60s  Closed Pep Rally Rehearsal will be held in the auditorium beginning at 5:00pm

Tuesday, Sept27: International Day  Students will wear clothes that represent their class continent: 2017 – Africa, 2018 – Asia, 2019 – South America, 2020 – Australia  Battle of the Classes will be held in the main gym at 4:30pm . Cost: $5 in advance/ $7 at the door

Wednesday, Sept. 28: Character Day  Students will represent a character for each class’ theme: 2017 – Marvel, 2018 – DC, 2019 – Nickelodeon, 2020 – Disney. No masks face painting or tights are allowed.  Mandatory Pep Rally DRESS rehearsal will be held in the auditorium beginning at 5:00pm

Thursday, Sept. 29: “Wild ‘n Out” Class Color/T-shirt Day  Students will wear their class color and it must be obvious from a distance which class is represented – No hats allowed! Students may also wear class t-shirts. They must comply with the PGC Dress Code Policy. 2017 – Orange, 2018 – Blue, 2019 – Purple, 2020 - Green  Pep Rally will be held in the auditorium at 6:30pm . Cost: $10 in advance/$15 at the door

Saturday, Oct. 1: Homecoming Day  Parade will begin at 1pm at Suitland Annex  Football Game at 3:00pm vs. Northwestern High School  Semi – Formal Dance from 8:00pm - 12am in the main gym . Cost: $20 in advance/$25 at the door . Dress to impress! No jeans!!! . 4x6 pictures will be available - $10 each

* Any student not in compliance with the Spirit Week day must be in Suitland HS uniform! * System-Wide Dress Code for Students

HEAD 1 • Headdresses can be worn indoors for religious or health reasons only.

SHIRTS AND BLOUSES 1 • Shirts and blouses should be continuous from neckline to waist. The entire mid-section should not show. No tank tops and muscle shirts. 2 • No clothing with vulgar language, obscene pictures, weapons, drugs/alcohol or drug paraphernalia and tobacco products. 3 • No identifiable gang/crew clothing or paraphernalia. 4 • No see-through clothing.

SKIRTS, DRESSES, AND SHORTS • Skirts, dresses, shorts, and should be approximately six (6) inches below the buttocks, or no shorter than fingertip level. No spandex or Band-Aid skirts allowed.

PANTS 1 • Pants should be secured at waist: no sagging below waist to expose undergarments. 2 • Tights, stretch pants, leggings, and spandex body suits must be worn with clothing long enough to cover buttocks.

SHOES 1 • Shoes must be worn.
