9. Prove theorems about lines and angles. Theorems include: vertical angles are congruent; when a transversal crosses parallel lines, alternate interior angles are congruent and corresponding angles are congruent; points on a perpendicular bisector of a line segment are exactly those equidistant from the segment’s endpoints.

 W: By the end of the period students will have been reassigned to BLAST groups and have chosen their collaborative role for their group. They will also have completed the Newsletter Home template to take home to review with their parents.

 Th/F: By the end of the direct station I will be able to prove vertical angles are congruent through a paragraph proof. By the end of independent station I will have watched a Khan video vertical angles and solving equations and gotten 3 in a row correct on the practice.
