The organisers, promoters and sponsors of this event, their agents and employees accept no liability for any loss or damage suffered by or to any entrant, owner, driver or rider by any means, act or omission or through any circumstances, and the entrant agrees to indemnify and save harmless the organisers, promoters, sponsors and affiliated organisations of this event, their agents and employees from all actions, suits, claims, proceeding or demands for damages or loss howsoever arising out of the entrant participating in this event. I agree to abide by all requests of officials and judge's decisions shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Note: entrants who do not sign the participant sheet will not be covered for any third party claims made against event organisers arising from their participation in the rally. Bikes Entered in Rally The 24th Anniversary AAR National Rally will be held at Clare SA. Rally Headquarters will be at the Discovery Holiday Parks, 136 Main North Rd Clare South Australia 5453. Bikes will be judged during the Saturday lunch stop at Burra SA. The bikes will be judged by rally entrants in the following categories: Period Entries A. Veteran Ariel (up to end of 1918, including outfits) B. Vintage Ariel (1919 to 1930, including outfits) C. Pre-War Ariel Single (1931 to 1945, including outfits) D. Pre-War Square 4 (1931 to 1945, including outfits) E. Post-War Single (1946 – on, including outfits) F. Post-War Square 4 (1946 – on, including outfits) G. Post-War Twins (1945 – on, including outfits) H. Ariel Two Strokes (1959 – on) Non-Period Entries I. All Ariels that do not conform to the above categories. (This may include outfits). J. All non-Ariels (including outfits). (To assist planning bike parking at the venue, entrants should select only one category in which they wish to display their bike for viewing and judging.)
Period Categories: Categories A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are period categories and to be eligible for entry in period categories bikes should have all major components correct for the period. Major components are considered to be: frame, forks, mudguards, tanks, speedo, headlight, wheels & brakes, taillight, chain guard, engine (crankcase, barrel(s), head and carburettor). Accessories should be of the period. Bikes that don't confirm to these conditions should be entered in the respective non-period categories.
Non-Period Categories: Category I generally does not adhere to the construction as built by the Ariel factory. This category includes hybrids. Category J is any non-Ariel bike. Perpetual and Other Categories: Bikes entered in period or non-period categories are also eligible for the following other category awards, which are: Most Desirable Ariel - judged by entrants (perpetual) Presidents Choice - judged by President (perpetual) Oldest Bike & Rider - selected by Rally Committee (perpetual) Furthest Ridden to Rally on an Ariel - selected by Rally Committee Furthest Travelled to Rally - selected by Rally Committee Youngest Rider on an Ariel- selected by Rally Committee Lady Rider on an Ariel - selected by Rally Committee Most original Ariel - selected Rally Committee
