2) Dr. Anungo Mohan Sen Memorial Gold Medal from Association of Surgeons of India, for securing first position in M.S 1983.

3) Dr. A.K. Nandy Post-graduate Research Scholarship in Medical Science for 1981-83 from Calcutta University.

4) Godrej Karai Surgical Research Fellowship from 1981-82 from Association of Surgeons of India.

5) Rameshwardas Birla Smarak Kosh Scholarship for the Research Project at Bombay Hospital in 1985-86.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:

Total recognized teaching experience is five years. Job responsibilities include practical and theory Teaching to under-graduates and post-graduates in surgery. The entire experience is in a reputed medical college and hospital, which is recognized for under-graduate and post-graduate courses in surgery. Duties assigned include regular theory lectures, bedside practical demonstrations and Operative surgery teaching. Regular participant in Seminars, Clinical Meetings and Group discussions. Further experience includes 12 months as clinical assistant in Department of Urology in the same recognized institution. During post-graduation rotated in various specialties like Cardiothoracic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, General Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery. Also two years teaching experience to post-graduates in Urology. WORK EXPERIENCE: (UROLOGY)

During this period rotated in various subspecialties like – Uroradiology, Nephrology and Renal Transplant, Pediatric Urology, Uro-oncology and Urodynamics.

May 1987 – May 1988 : Consulting Urologist at R.G Stone Clinic and Urological Research Institute - Lithotripsy Centre, Bombay.

April 24, 1999 : Visiting Urologist & Andrologist at Victoria Hospital at Mauritius on invitation by Rotary Club of Mauritius and Ministry of Health to train general surgeons for urology work. EUROPE 1. Training in Microsurgery for a period of 6 weeks during November – December 1989 with Prof. W. Boeckx, one of the renowned Microsurgeons of the world at Academisch Zeikenhuis Sint- Rafael, Centre for Microsurgery at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.
