INSTRUCTIONS for Assessment Tests Missouri SNAP E&T Program

If you are using a computer in an MU Extension County Office, simply open your browser (the program that connects you to the Internet), and you will see a screen that looks like this:

If you are using any other computer, such as one at a school, library, career center or at home, enter the following address into your browser, and you will be connected to the same screen. Missouribusiness.net/snape&t

Click the “Enter testing” button, and you will be connected to the following screen.

On this screen, you will enter your name and your DSS case number to give you access to the testing center. You may hit the Tab button to move from one box to the next. When you are finished, click “Submit.”

1 Now you will see a screen that looks like this. This is your Test Event ID. If you are interrupted during your tests because the internet or computer goes down, you can use the Test Event ID to log back in and finish the tests (go to www.oda1.com to restart the tests).

Please write down the Test Event ID in the space provided below.

Click “Continue” to get to the next screen.

The next screen will provide some final instructions before you begin answering the questions.

PLEASE NOTE: Once you click on Begin Test, you must complete both tests before closing down your browser. If you close your browser before you have completed the both tests, your results will be lost.

2 You are now ready to take the first test. This should be the “Criteria Basic Skills Test.” Read the instructions for the test carefully. Once you have read the instructions, click on “Continue.”

When you have finished the first test, follow the instructions to begin the Employee Personality Profile. There is no time limit, but it should take you between 15 and 25 minutes to complete.

Once both the Criteria Basic Skills Test and the Employee Personality Profile are complete, you are free to close the browser. The confidential results will be sent to the SNAP E&T staff with whom you have spoken previously. Remember, the results are only used as a guide to your basic skills and personality and will have no bearing on your employment prospects in the future. The results will not be shared with any potential employers or other individuals.

Your Career Counselor will be in touch to further discuss your job search in the near future. If you have not received a call from the counselor within five working days of the day you take the tests, please call our office at 1-866-___-____.
