NOTE: All field experiences associated with EDUG coursework related to the LBS-1 certificate must be completed prior to student teaching. Candidates who intend to student teach in private schools must complete a minimum of 60 field experience hours in public school settings. Candidates who are already full-time teachers may be eligible to student teach in their own classrooms under certain circumstances. In these cases, they are required to complete a minimum of 60 field experience hours outside of their own school (and in public school settings, if applicable).
