Career pathways systems are designed with the needs of adults, working learners and nontraditional learners in mind. It’s a new approach to adult education and training that increases program completion and credential attainment, resulting in improved outcomes for community members and their families.

Specific Path Example: Health Information Technology Here is an example of a career pathway for Health Information Technology, which is an in- demand field with significant projected growth. Each certificate is stackable and portable, and people can leave and return to the pathway at any time. They can also branch off into related fields.
