United Way Announces New Board of Directors

Spokane – Nine new board members have been elected to serve a three year term on the Spokane County United Way Board of Directors. Tom Stevenson, retired partner, Moss Adams, LLP will serve as board chair.

New directors elected to serve a three year term are: Carla Altepeter, Numerica Credit Union; Carrie Cheshier, Travelers Companies; Barbara Doyle, Itron; Kim Ferraro, West Central Community Center; Dan Johnson, The Spokesman Review; Rob McCann, Catholic Charities Spokane; Dr. Shelley Redinger, Spokane Public Schools; Ken Schumacher, Wells Fargo Bank; and Dennis Vermillion, Avista Utilities Corp.

The new board members will serve with 20 other volunteer directors who oversee United Way’s local efforts to advance the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all by focusing on the building blocks for a good quality of life – education, income and health.
