Chemicals Meeting Santa Monica Co-Opportunity Field Trip 1525 Broadway, Santa Monica

Getting There: You have two options for getting to the Co-Op: walking or taking the bus.

The walk is 1 mile and takes 15 to 20 minutes. If you take the bus, your crew MUST meet at the bus stop at your crew meeting time or you will miss the bus.

However you get to the Co-Op, you must take the bus back.

Walk to Co-op: . Cut through SMC heading towards Pico . Once at Pico, continue heading north on 17th Street . Follow 17th Street until you reach Broadway . Turn left on Broadway . The Co-Op is 1 block down on the on the north side of the street

Bus to Co-op: #11 Bus at 17th & Pearl (west of the CEUS/east of John Adams Middle School)

Exit Bus: 14th & Broadway (ask bus driver to notify you of stop location if you are unsure) . From the bus stop head east on Broadway . Keep an eye on the street signs – you should be crossing number streets and the numbers should be getting larger (15th & 16th) . The Co-op is on the north side of the street at 1525 Broadway

At the Co-Op: Take Crew on a mini-tour, pointing out organic produce, cleaning products, paper goods and health and beauty supplies. Let Crew Members explore store on their own as well, but meet back out front 15 minutes before “Bus to SMC” time in table

Return Bus Stop: #11 Bus at Broadway & 20th Head east on Broadway (numbers of streets get larger) until you reach 20th

Exit Bus: 20th & Pearl - Make a right on Pearl Street, the CEUS will be on your left
