Who is to take Wegmans orders

BDA Sales Representatives

 Main purpose is to develop strong relationships with accounts, identifying opportunities while increasing sales and providing education and information to managers and their staff.

Responsibilities

1. Perform account detailing - inventory of department stock for ordering purposes 2. Submit orders to Platinum via email to [email protected], fax or phone 3. Returns are the sales rep. responsibility. You must call Platinum to obtain a Return Authorization # (RA#) in order for any returns/credits to be processed 4. One on one training and education on all Platinum SKU”S with the Wegmans Store Manager and staff at each location in your territory 5. Co-ordinate and perform in-store demos and special events 6. Back orders – is the sales rep responsibility to hold-up back orders. Once the product is back in stock, call Platinum to fill the order 7. To handle customer questions, concerns and complaints and follow through to ensure that they are resolved to achieve customer satisfaction. 8. Answer product questions and provide technical advice and information as requested. 9. Send packages to new Wegmans customers 10. Submit weekly/monthly territory reports to Platinum 11. Perform administrative work; photocopy, fax, prepare customer packages, update account files, etc. 12. Facilitate orders, credits, returns and special discounts

Out-of-Stock Items:

Although we make every effort to maintain stock and satisfy our customers, occasionally we may be out of stock on certain items. The entire order with available items will be processed and backordered items will be shipped when available. A comment will appear on the invoice indicating the ‘out of stock’ items. The Sales Representative should notify the customer about backordered items either by phone or by email. Any changes will be reflected on the order total and shipping confirmation.
