a. Academic Programming

a.i. Welcome Back Hot Cocoa

a.i.i. February 4th Time: 11-3:30

a.i.ii. Mary-Kate Michels: Eboard had 5/6 boxes of joe and it was gone in 3 hours, but it was free. With all that you’re buying 20 boxes of hot chocolate might be a lot; especially selling $1 for each cup.

a.i.iii. Melissa Guida: Thought to put an academic spin on it and get some type of feedback.

a.i.iv. Ryan Gribbin-Burket: PR the other day said $.25 a cup- update the PR.

a.i.v. Christine: You can ask Roger for the large containers and they can hold the hot chocolate and keep it warm.

a.i.vi. Travis Isgro: Use Lackman for the container.

a.i.vii. Mary-Kate Michels: I’m not sure if you’re going to sell that much hot chocolate. Maybe just get concerns instead. a.i.viii. Shakhan Volmar: Money possibly going to Alex’s family, Christie talked about this at conference.

a.i.ix. Nick Caratelli: He may be able to get hot chocolate cheaper. Talk to him later about it.

a.ii. Baby Safe Haven Fundraiser

a.ii.i. Shakhan Volmar: Talked about it at conference.

a.ii.ii. Organization for children that have been abandoned. A speaker will be coming to Molloy to talk about it. Asking for baby supplies or a donation as admission to go to those children.

a.ii.iii. Anna Delgado: Academic spin on it… children books along with children supplies. Babies need to read and be read to. Just a suggestion. b. Molloy Life Media

b.i. Stall Talk

b.i.i. Missy Grebe: Made February Stall Talk… no emails of events were sent in. Just used Eryn’s binder to find events in student affairs. Just send in events ASAP, so she can add to it. Haven’t gotten any PR requests either. c. Community Service

c.i. Cookie Decorating

c.i.i. Wednesday, 2/3/16, 11am-2pm, PS Lobby

c.i.ii. Tracey Balinskas: Push to St. Baldricks Day!

c.ii. Panera Night

c.ii.i. Wednesday, 2/3/16, 4pm-8pm, Panera Bread RVC

c.ii.ii. Tracey Balinskas: Had one last year that was really great. Usually you need a picture of a flyer to show when you pay. Text it to people- group chats! You don’t need to just have a physical paper. A percent of the bill goes towards St. Baldricks. Don’t have to pay for parking after 6pm. d. Residence Life

e.i.i. No Change e.ii. Juniors

e.ii.i. Rock Climbing

e.ii.i.a. Looking to do it in April.

e.ii.i.b. Jake Schlapp: Rock climbing should be done closer just because it is nasty outside. It would get more people to go.

e.ii.i.c. Mary-Kate Michels: March would be better also; if those are the both two big events it may give you something to do up until that point.

e.ii.ii. Broadway

e.ii.ii.a. Got a number to call back.

e.ii.iii. Chipotle Fundraiser

e.ii.iii.a. Mary-Kate Michels: If chipotle doesn’t work out just think of Moe’s also as another option.

e.i.iv. Anna Delgado: Clubs hang out and freshmen walk around and put themselves on email list. Transfer orientation was today; hopefully we can get a few transfers to join clubs as well.

e.i.v. Disney themed

e.i.vi. Sarah Losner: Anna and I had a meeting with club presidents and advisors and many weren’t there. Just want to repeat what I said there. Club spending has been low this year. Spent a lot of time diving up the funds and only spent 15% of funds. Clubs had intentions of spending the money. Let them know they need to spend all their money before the year ends. February 10th paper work due…with how clubs are going to spend the rest of their money

e.i.vii. Ryan Gribbin-Burket: Out of curiosity, how much funding did we give to clubs? Sarah is transparent she can happily share with anyone.

f. Programming Coordinator

f.i. Stuff A Bear

f.i.i.Wednesday, 2/10/16, 11am-2pm, PS Lobby

f.i.ii. Mandatory event

f.i.iii. Super excited! Sending out a sign-up sheet soon. Also, sending out PR this week!

f.i.iv. April 7th is the Molloy college spring fair; make sure you tell clubs!

f.i.v. April 28th End of the year BBQ!

f.i.vi. Anna Delgado: We normally fluff them, so how is that going to work?

f.i.vii. Melissa Guida: There is a machine that shoots the stuffing. The machine fluffs the stuffing and fills the bear more. And for the low price of $350 we’re going to have it come help us. MSG Member will help with spot-on, and then students will need help picking out the bear. Cute T-Shirts also. Huge backup every year… 5 seconds per bear with the machine and insured the capacity of how much we have!

f.i.viii. Ryan Gribbin-Burket: Physical set up? Melissa Guida: utilizing the patio, but in the works. 8. Old/Unfinished Business

a. Jojo Minasi: If you weren’t at conference, we did sector pictures! If you weren’t there and your sector can find a time to retake your picture let us know ASAP.

b. Tony Ricigliano: Banner in the works?

c. Missy Grebe: Not really sure how to make a banner like this.

d. Melissa Guida: It would be really cool but were all going to be gone/ changing positions soon. We should have a banner that says Welcome to the Student Government office… something more generic.

e. Will Torres: Intent of a nice gesture, but if all the pictures were taken in a week it would have been done. We don’t even have all the pictures, all the lighting is different it all unraveled and too big of a project to handle.

f. Anna Delgado: Can you post the pictures? Will: Yes, I’ll post them in a drop box after the meeting.

g. Mary-Kate Michels: She will look into who hasn’t taken their picture and then we can send them over to media.
