INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN FERGHANA VALLEY WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT PROJECT GRANT NO: H 576 TJ PROCUREMENT AND INSTALLATION OF EARLY FLOOD WARNING SYSTEM FOR KAYRAKKUM RESERVOIR IFB №: H576TJ-AF-ICB-11-04 1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. WB 331672/06, February 16, 2006 2.The Republic of Tajikistan has received a grant from the International Development Association toward the cost of Ferghana Valley Water Resources Management Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to payments under the Contract for Procurement of pumps, equipment’s and accessories for Procurement and installation of early flood warning system for Kayrakkum reservoir, № H576TJ-AF-ICB-11-04 3. The Project Management Unit now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for delivery of pumps, equipment’s and accessories for pumping station Mahram-1 in Kanibadam district. The delivery period shall be not more than six month. 4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) Revised May 2005, September 2006, May 2007, and May 2010 procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines. 5.
