DIFFUSION, CONFUSION!!!:

In class, we have been discussing the structure and function of the cell membrane. You have heard me say several times that in biology the way something is built (structure) directly relates to its job (function). You have taken notes on the structure and function of the cell membrane as well as completed the online activity 6.3 demonstrating the selective permeability of the cell membrane. Now, it is time you put this new-found knowledge to work. You and your team will be creating and performing either a dramatic skit or song representing your understanding of diffusion across a semi-permeable membrane.

 All group members must agree to the medium chosen

 The skit/song will be performed during next class. Props/script/lyrics/music are required.

 Each group member will be accountable for creating a section of the performance

 All group members must participate in the performance

 The following terms should be addressed within the performance

 Prizes will be given to the top 2 performances (highly qualified, professionally trained, nonbiased judges will be employed)
