Kayla also encouraged members of the coalition to add contacts to the list of people on Google drive, who have been designated to be invited to the Summit.

III. Summit Planning Dani reminded the coalition that Texas Woman’s University has agreed to sponsor the Summit on October 8th 2016. She also went over the purpose for the summit which is; to inform the decision making and action plan for the coalition going forward. The vendor fair was confirmed to take place on the day of the summit, and it was then decided that there would be no fee for organizations to set up booths. Dani then lead the group into a discussion on how to fund lunch for the Summit. It was decided that having the lunch sponsored would be more viable than charging the attendees a registration fee. This was then followed by a discussion on seeking outside sources for possible sponsorships from places such as:  LA Fitness  Smile Zone  Hospitals  Target  Wal-Mart  WinCo  Cooke Children’s  Baylor Hospital

Upcoming Meetings Aug 13th 2016 9:30AM – 11:00 AM Mulberry Room Sept 13th 9:30AM – 11:00 AM Redbuds Room Gary then suggested that United Way would serve as a fiscal agent. There was a discussion on whether or not the Summit would have a working lunch, thereafter; Dr. Morrison made a suggestion that the type of food served would determine the nature of the conversation at lunch. He elaborated that an informal meal would better accommodate a working lunch. It was then suggested that there be a speaker during the lunch break as well as offer a more formal meal, in order to allow for the attendees to decompress and recharge for the remainder of the day. It was also suggested that the speaker would be someone who is a success story and would be able to tell their story on the effectiveness of the provision of quality resources. The WATCH Coalition summits were suggested to serve as examples of what the lunch would look like. Dr. Glenna Harris and Dr. Mike Mattingly were suggested as speakers for lunch.

The facilitators for each of the content areas for the Summit were suggested and designated as follows:

1. Education- Hugh Bolton ; transcriber - Sally Brown 2. Hunger and Food insecurity- Barb Ewen 3. Health- Pam Gutierrez, Lisa Elliot 3.i. It was suggested that there be 2 facilitators for Health; one for mental health and the other for physical health. 4. Safety- Shane Keizer. 5.
