He has given his uncompromised support 35 to Crime Stoppers and deserves the lion’s share of the credit for 36 the program’s success; and 37 38 Whereas, South Carolina is fortunate to have public-minded 39 individuals such as Billy Huggins and corporate citizens such as 40 WPDE and WWMB who contribute their time and resources to 41 help make their communities a better place to live and work; and 42

1 [1107] 1 1 Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this 2 resolution, would like to publicly recognize and thank WPDE and 3 WWMB and the stations’ general manager, Billy Huggins, for 4 their unselfish contributions to and assistance with the Crime 5 Stoppers program. Now, therefore, 6 7 Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives 8 concurring: 9 10 That the members of the General Assembly commend television 11 stations WPDE (Channel 15) and WWMB (Channel 21) and Billy 12 Huggins, general manager of these stations, for their contributions 13 to and assistance with the Crime Stoppers program in the Grand 14 Strand and Pee Dee areas which have helped to make it such a 15 successful program. 16 17 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to 18 Mr. Billy Huggins. 19 ----XX---- 20
