Dear Westside Community,

What a privilege it is to join the Westside Montessori community! I am thrilled to become the next Head and work with everyone as we shape the future of the school, while honoring its past. As I anticipate my move into the community, I look forward to an exciting year of learning and growing with our students, as well as working with our professional staff and you, our parents. Becoming more immersed in the mission and culture of Westside Montessori, it has become increasingly clear how much the families and students value this school. I loved the well- roundedness I observed in the students I met and the positive, extraordinary relationships they have with their teachers. I am truly fortunate to be joining and leading this unique educational community.

Westside Montessori serves a diverse community of children and families. This value is essential to me as an educator and one of the reasons I decided to join your school community. When I visited and walked through the halls, I saw students representing countries from all around the world. I am thrilled to help guide that arc of progress and purpose into the future and celebrate our international array of families. My priority as Head is to ensure that Westside Montessori continues to be an outstanding school. Not only do I want to get to know the students, teachers, and school community, but also to build an excellent team to work alongside me. I will work with all of you to fulfill the mission and build upon this with the addition of the adolescent program. Together, we shall continue to nurture and educate every child to meet his or her full potential.

I am looking forward to moving to Houston and having an opportunity to meet everyone personally when I arrive on campus in July. Maybe I will even see some of you at the Spring Gala before then. I feel honored to have been selected as your next Head of School, and I am eager to work together.
