What is the Green Mountain Passport Program ?

The Green Mountain Passport Program is a discount program for senior citizens and veterans with disabilities (see eligibility requirements below).

What are the eligibility requirements for the Green Mountain Passport?

You are eligible for a Green Mountain Passport if:

 You are a resident of Vermont in the municipality where application is made, and  You are 62 years of age or over, or  You are a resident of the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, or  You have been certified by the Vermont Veteran’s Administration to be totally disabled as a result of disease or injury suffered while serving in the armed forces.

Where can I use the Green Mountain Passport?

You can use your passport for free admission to Vermont State Parks (overnight camping and other park fees are excluded), Vermont State Historic Sites, and events which are fully State sponsored.

How do I apply for a Green Mountain Passport?

You must go to the Town Clerk in the town where you reside. You will fill out an application, pay a $2.00 fee and receive your passport.
