This scholarship, sponsored by the State Employees’ Credit Union, is valued at $10,000 and is awarded to one senior from every traditional public high school in North Carolina. From the applications submitted, the Rolesville High School scholarship committee will select one student who best meets the criteria of this scholarship. Students applying should be a senior who has been accepted to one of the 16 campuses of the University of North Carolina system, who exemplifies the philosophy of “people helping people”, has a 2.5 or higher GPA, and agrees to continue as a full-time student with the same university for 8 consecutive semesters. Preference will be to students whose parents or guardians are public sector employees, as well as to students planning to major in public service degree programs (such as Education, Public Health or Public Administration).

In order to be considered, your completed application must be returned to Mrs. Harris in Student Services by Friday, March 17th .
