Price guide changes will take effect Friday, April 5, 2013, for Lumber and Panel

Coast 2x6 10-foot studs highlight price guide changes
A few changes to the Random Lengths lumber and panel price guides are coming with the issue of April 5.
On Page 5, prices will be added for Coast Hem-Fir and dry Douglas Fir 2x6 10-foot studs. One deletion on this page is the footnoted price for green Douglas Fir 2x4 8-foot Stud grade, as production today is virtually all stamped #2&Btr.
On Page 6, delivered prices reflect mostly higher freight adders, as a result of new rates implemented for either railroad or truck transportation.
On Page 12, under Western Plywood, a footnoted price adder will be shown for BC plugged and touch sanded panels over CC P&TS panels.
