Report – Secretary • Appointment of Sub-Committees (action 1708Z) Some vacancies on the Sub-Committees, please volunteer so that we are not overloaded with work. • Ambassadors for competitions (action 1707J/1708A) Paul to put together a definitive list for October meeting

Report – Fixture Secretary  Under 17 Division After communicating that the division was going to be played at 9v9, Cuckfield Cosmos have withdrawn. DECISION 1709/01 – The Committee agreed not to run an Under 17 division. DECISION 1709/02 – Under 17 teams not to be charged an entry fee DECISION 1709/03 – Registrations for the players not to be charged (Under 17). DECISION 1709/04 – Cuckfield Cosmos to be fined £0.00 for withdrawing Under 17 team ACTION 1709B – Paul to complete FA Pilot form to allow players who reach 16 years of age during a playing season to be eligible for open age football (two year age band).

 Under 14 (Merging Divisions) Allie received a request from Worthing Town to merge the two divisions. Competition Rules only allow a maximum of 10 teams per division so we cannot fulfil this request at the present time. Eastbourne Borough have withdrawn however are in discussion with Bexhill United about potentially merging so have not yet been withdrawn from fixtures. DECISION 1709/4 – LMC agreed with approach for Under 14 division DECISION 1709/05 – Bexhill United U14 given until 1800 24th September to register players or they will be withdrawn. ACTION 1709C - Allie to send Bexhill an email explaining the situation (Under 14).

DECISION 1709/06 – Rustington Raiders U16 to be fined for late notification of the match. Match to be rearranged. ACTION 1709D – Email Rustington and Mile Oak U16 – rearrangement of game. DECISION 1709/07 – Billingshurst to be fined £0.00 for withdrawing Under 12 team.

Report – Age Group Officers Allie - Two teams reversed fixtures on 17th September Kevin - Under 13 fixtures now resolved Russell – Worthing Utd v Montpelier Villa – reversing of fixture (Brighton home fixture). Worthing Utd v Worthing Town on 25/02/18 needs to be moved to the 1st or 3rd week of the month.

• Publishing of League results DECISION 1709/09 – The Management Committee decided to remove the following elements from the 2017-2018 League Policy Statement with immediate effect: Publishing of League results Results for youth league matches will not be published.

ACTION 1709F – Paul to publish website article regarding creation of a development group from club members ACTION 1709G – Paul to publish website article regarding addition of competition results. • Replies by email received and discussed • Publishing of League tables No further action •Recording of goalscorers It was agreed that not recording goalscorers would remain in place for this season and could be a topic to discuss at the Development Group • One sided scores and how to manage them ACTION 1709H - Deferred to October’s meeting for a full discussion.

 Old Laptop DECISION 1709/10 – Management Committee agreed to donate the old laptop belonging to the League to a local nursery for use as a toy provided the hard drive is destroyed.  FA IT Grant DECISION 1709/11 – Hold off until it is needed for more than one officer.

Respect Barriers – 75% discount Deadline closes – Friday 22 September DECISION 1709/12 – Management Committee agreed to spend £165 for Respect equipment before the deadline expires.
