Dear Parents of PASS students,
We officially began using the PASS program at Schindewolf in 2008. It has been very successful at the high schools, at several intermediate school, and for many years throughout Katy ISD.
Each day your student will take home a “School-to-Home Behavior Evaluation Sheet” to be signed and returned the next day. The sheet will have the student’s overall percentage for the day based on the Target Behaviors that I discussed with the students last week (sheet attached). There is also a place for your comments on the back. Our week will run Friday through Thursday, so that the students will be able to receive their rewards on Friday. If I have spoken with you about using e-mail instead, you will not receive the folder each day.
From the PASS manual: “PASS views parents as partners in the delivery of educational services for their child.” I hope we can work together this year so that each student will have a great year.
