3. SDC updates

A. Process Based Training Update – The 3-month delay was approved by ESC & Sub-Pac due to needing more time to complete. 9 modules are needed to be completed by next week so as to stay on track. Demo module will be ready Dec. 26. There are some technical issues that are being worked out currently. Once the demo modules are completed, it will be put out on the SDC site for all to review. The AI modules should be done by Monday and the hope is to let IPT know and then a recommendation will be taken to Work Plan Sub-Committee regarding the training being mandatory. The SDC Board can make a recommendation to the WPSC.

B. SDC Staffing Update – The HCPF vacancy held interviews and an individual was identified, but offer has not been made. HCPF will follow up to see if offer can be made so as to get candidate on board. Question asked was did SDC hire someone that provides OIT Training, i.e. CBMS Build training? At this time, SDC continues to complete the CBMS Builds, but OIT should or also provide the CBMS Build training. OIT is very willing to contribute to the training material.

C. SDC Budget Update – There are funds that have been set aside for the PBT Pilot and hopefully the funds will still be available. The evaluation may cost 50K and so they will put that aside and if all is not used, then that can be used toward the pilot project. The SDC Lease/rent is being reviewed again at the State and hopefully that will be paid on time. Reimbursements will be funneled back through SDC so counties can be reimbursed, Eagle and Pitkin County. OIT will look into the reimbursement request. D. October Network Trainer meeting offered certified trainers on internal dry run and only 1 trainer was able to attend the SDC’s

E. RRR Modules were released on Tuesday, Dec. 6 – 6 eligibility staff have completed and 41 are in progress. How much training time will count towards the HCPF Incentive training per module? HCPF will follow up with that information.

F. SSTABS and CWFC will be providing a conference and have asked SDC to participate by providing training. SDC is feeling their staff may or may not be available due to the PBT.

G. CBMS Build training – Dec. CBMS Build training is complete and will roll out next week. SDC is already working on the March CBMS Build training. Discussion continued and will go off line.

OIT presented their training plan through December 2016 – OIT presented a plan. There was much discussion and it was decided that this topic will continue and be placed on the January 2017 agenda. OIT will update the plan per what was discussed today for

5. New Business

A. SDC use for other trainings - The concern has been when other State programs ask to use the facility for the training, they should be able to use the facility if it is available. It was brought to the attention of SDC that when a State program is using the facility, they should be able to use the facility, i.e. printer, copier, etc. SDC put together a cost form and asks those programs to sign and know they will be billed. This was done as SDC was concerned about going over budget. If the agreement has been made between the SDC and program, there should not be further discussion and those programs should be able to move about as needed.
