Institute for Emergency Preparedness

Mallory Pusch Jacksonville State University Institute for Emergency Preparedness [email protected] [email protected]

My name is Mallory Pusch and I am with Jacksonville State University’s Institute for Emergency Preparedness. I am the graduate assistant for the department and am coming into my second year in the Master’s in emergency management program. I have an Associates of Arts degree from Pensacola Junior College and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. My experience includes being a member of the local hazardous materials team, and completing the Center of Domestic Preparedness’ WMD Technical Emergency Response Training Course. The conference was brought to my attention by my professor in the emergency management program. I hope to gain further knowledge about the different institutions who have similar programs as our own, and I also hope to learn more about the different techniques they use to teach and as well as learn.
