JVC Emerald Series D-LED HDTV Lineup Expands With New Models Ranging from 28 to 65 Inches

Las Vegas, NV, January 6, 2014 – AmTRAN Video Corp., a leader in HDTV and Ultra HDTV design and manufacturing, today announced a vast expansion of its JVC Emerald Series lineup of LED LCD HDTVs, with new models ranging from 28-inches to 65-inches.
All of the new Emerald Series offerings feature slim profiles and an ultra-thin bezel design, with every model delivering exceptional audio visual performance. Four of the Emerald Series, ranging from 42 to 65 inches, will be bundled with Roku® Streaming Stick™. This rollout is the first for AmTRAN Video Corporation’s partnership with Roku, Inc., creator of the most popular streaming platform on the market.
Sitting atop the expanding Emerald Series line is the EM65FTR (SRP: $1,699.99) – JVC’s largest Full HD LED LCD display to date. Unlike many LED LCD offerings in its size class, the EM65FTR features an array of direct LED backlight, resulting in an incredibly rich image with exceptional black levels and a dynamic contrast ratio of 6,000,000:1. It also features 10-bit color reproduction, JVC’s own CrystalColor Enhancement for exceptional sharpness and vibrant colors, and 120Hz CrystalMotion video processing for enhanced clarity with fast-moving images.
At the same time, AmTRAN is introducing the 42-inch EM42FTR (SRP: $599.99), 48-inch EM48FTR (SRP: $729.99) and 55-inch EM55FTR (SRP: $899.99) models, all boasting direct LED backlight functionality, 6,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and CrystalMotion and CrystalColor processing. The Roku Streaming Stick is included in the packaging with the EM65FTR, EM55FTR, EM48FTR, and EM42FTR and provides users with a wide selection of channels from the most popular streaming video, music, and casual games.
AmTRAN is also showcasing 39-inch EM39FT (SRP: $469.99) and 55-inch EM55FT (SRP: $829.99) Emerald Series models with MHL support, 1080p resolution, and direct LED backlighting. The company will also introduce 28-inch EM28T (SRP: $269.99) and 32-inch EM32TS (SRP: $329.99) HD models.

Electronics Control (CEC), a feature that allows end-users to easily and automatically control compatible HDMI-connected devices with the TV remote.
All of the new Emerald Series TVs include USB media ports for quick access to personal pictures. The new models also feature antenna connectivity for direct reception of high-definition over-the-air broadcasts; component and composite video inputs; and a music port, with an Audio Only mode to cons erve energy while listening to music. Additional energy savings are provided by the displays’ Auto Power Off capabilities and Energy Star certification.
The new displays also include multiple HDMI inputs -- two for the EM39FT; three for the EM42FTR, EM48FTR, EM55FTR, and EM65FTR – one input on each of which features Auto Return Channel capabilities. Also, one HDMI input on each of the five Emerald models doubles as a Mobile High- Definition Link for full compatibility with today’s MHL-supported smartphones and media streaming devices.

The Emerald Series’ rich connectivity options and stunning video performance are only part of the package. The new displays also feature MTS stereo decoding, Dolby Digital processing with 5.1-channel pass-through, and the company’s own XinemaSound® 3D, a sophisticated digital signal processing platform that delivers a balance of rich music, accurate special effects, deep bass, and crystal clear dialogue to create a cinema-quality surround experience without the need for an external soundbar.
Unique to the new line of speakers is AmTRAN’s proprietary XinemaSound® Level, which, when applied to the TV’s speakers, results in significantly enhanced low range output. AmTRAN’s XinemaSound technology also features Clear Dialog processing, which analyzes the audio mix, identifies voices, and adjusts their levels independent of the rest of the audio signal. AmTRAN Video Corporation will debut all of these JVC TV displays in Suite #23249 at the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas, during two media-only open houses on January 7 and 8, 2014, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
