CATEGORY: Rev. Date: 12/27/13 FISCAL BILLING POLICY Date Created: 9/28/13 Policy/Procedure #FI- 001 Date Reviewed:08/24/16

It is the policy of the Women’s Golf Association of Northern California to collect dues from member clubs based on a calendar year beginning January 1 of each year.

The Association office shall be responsible for billing clubs for the annual club dues in January of each year.

Annual dues for all clubs shall be $50. Club dues will not be prorated at any time during the year. The invoice for club dues will be sent to the club Captain.

Failure to pay the January billing by April 1 (Article IV Sec. 5 of the WGANC bylaws) constitutes delinquency and may result in discontinuance of member services and benefits.

All clubs must comply with the WGANC annual roster maintenance deadline of February 28. Clubs will be billed for all members on their rosters as of that date.

The date membership begins is the date a GHIN number is assigned or activated in a club.

The Association office shall be responsible for billing clubs for GHIN dues in March, August, and December. The invoices will be sent to the Handicap Chair.

Annual GHIN dues for club members shall be $30 through November 30. Members that join December 1 or later will not be charged for that month.

If a fee increase is necessary and approved, it will be announced to the membership not later than October 1, to become effective the following January 1.

All club members will be charged the annual membership fees at each club to which they belong.

Any member giving up her membership at one club and transferring to another WGANC club during the year shall not be charged an additional membership fee provided the WGANC office has been notified of the transfer.
