MIS Portlets Version 02/06/2008 MIS Portlet Prototypes ERCOT Public

Introduction

This document illustrates each of the landing pages in the MIS Portal. It includes all protocol-required postings known as of Feb. 6, 2008. Some requirements for reports and extracts are still being defined. Also, information related to compliance and performance are not included, since Section 8 scope is still being discussed in TPTF

This version does not include requirements from Other Binding Documents or System Change Requests. Those requirements will be added next.

This view shows all content, regardless of MP type or role. One of the constraints of the portal tool we’re using is that access to information happens at the portlet level, not at the individual pieces of content. Therefore, we have to organize public, secure and certified content into separate portlets.

The coding displayed in the upper right is an ID number, which will not display on the actual portlet. You can see from the letters C (certified), S (secure), P (public) how the information is classified.

The current version of MIS in EDS will evolve to this prototype in future releases.
