JUMPING EQUITATION CLINIC and NCAS PC, EA COACHES UPDATE with DAVID QUICK at Westbury Showground on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th August 2012; 9.00 am start

EA COACHES UPDATE: Saturday 11th August 9am – 12.30 pm. EA coaches are welcome and are encouraged to participate in the 2 day clinic. Update for Jumping Equitation Judges, PC and EA Coaches, Trainees, Pencillers and Riders All coaches; particularly jumping instructors, should endeavour to attend. Anyone else who is interested and/or prepared to become involved in this area, please come along. We are short of judges in particular.

Riders attending will be demonstration riders, but will certainly gain some very helpful tips and riding techniques. It is intended that there will be up to four riders in a group Some coaches are being asked to ride, so if you are interested in coming as a rider coach indicate on the form. Cost In recognition of services provided, this clinic is being sponsored by the PCAT and EA. There is no charge for PCAT participants. Updating EA Coaches: $20

Riders who can attend both days given priority. A variety of standards are required. Riders must hold ‘C’ certificate. Rider and horse combination must be able to complete a course of 75cms.

Bring: Folding chair, note book and pen, warm and water-proof clothing, food and a mug, (tea, coffee provided.) PCAT Jumping Equitation Manual if you have a copy. These will be available - Cost $10. David Quick’s Notes. Accommodation: Distant coaches may be able to be billeted by Northern Zone members; contact Ann Graves. There are yards and stables at the showgrounds. Fees: Stables-$5, Yards-$2, Camping: $5 pp; $10 p family. Requirements to become an official JE Judge: Attend two JE Clinics. Complete open-book exam paper. Judge five rounds in test situation.
