Interested Students Should Apply Through the Career Center S Connections Site

Student Assistant/Event Ambassador in the Career Center is responsible for nightly information sessions and assisting the On-campus Recruiting Coordinator with on-campus recruitment. This position also will require Excel skills due to data input of weekly and monthly reports. This position is strictly an afternoon through nightly position. The work hours will range from 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM when info sessions are scheduled. This position will be responsible for assisting employers recruiting on campus and with nightly information sessions.

Students must be enrolled full-time and must have an overall minimum GPA of 2.75 or greater. No exceptions to the GPA or work hours requirements will be made. The student assistant must be personable, enthusiastic, energetic, respectful, and have excellent communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants whose schedule will allow them to work several hours at a time. Second semester sophomore or junior level students are preferred, but incoming sophomores who have at least 1 – 2 years prior work experience will be considered also.
