From conception I have directed Thyroid Australia (Brisbane) Network with a personal commitment to the support of people with Thyroid and related conditions, assisting in finding suitable medical professionals, teaching patients to communicate with and in a language doctors understand. Always maintaining that every diagnosed Thyroid condition is a patient’s personal issue, keeping an open mind on medication, understanding what transcends with treatment.

The reality is that you are an individual and deserve to be treated as such, not being fed regurgitated ..... there out there …… information, nor pigeon holed as a part of the populous of a herd, but to find the right balance of Thyroid and related health care treatment for you.

Helping with patient advocacy, as well as the interaction and importance family and friends play in helping to keep relationships and friend ships in tact, through the sometimes long and sensitive issue of Thyroid Health Care.

Freely providing assist to any one who has been diagnosed or wants to become aware of what their Thyroid means to them, within the pursuit of improved health and well being, has been a metaphysical 24/7 work in progress since July 2003.

This is the sickening part…… sitting looking at the screen …… 13 April 2011 8.00 am, dialed 000 for an ambulance. With little warning and symptoms masked by fibromyalgia, lying on the bed succumbed in perspiration, I was having a severe heart attack……. Thanks’ Dad and Mum for the bad genes……. Two weeks later out of hospital, painfully managing three stents and a double by pass, my life wasn’t to be in the fast lane any more...... That said …… brought back some suppressed feelings …… . With health issues the tank is excreting life and I need to have time off from the personal Thyroid support after more than ten years…… as well as other aspects of my life ……. A mile stone not intended to fast track and become a head stone. Please understand it has been a long agonizing decision but necessary for self preservation.

The web site and blog will continue with sensory wisdom and the same level of understanding I have freely given to thousands of people from my research over the years. If you are into prayer - I could really use some to help me continue with the support, to try to make sense of the receipts of life and the suffering of good people in the future…… please.

The enticement to share my research is strong. It is extremely important that the flow of honest educated …... good luck on finding that…... Thyroid support, as opposed to regurgitated Thyroid information found to be un savory, if not inverted, denigrated and or unpalatable, ….. the blind leading the blind….. is a major concern
