Bill: What do you remember… the first thing you remember about Selinsgrove?

Frank: All the other buildings.

Bill: The buildings?

Frank: Yeah.

Bill: And how old were you when you came here?

Frank: 11.

Bill: So you were just a boy.

Frank: Yep.

And today is your birthday, correct?

Frank: Yep, you got it!

Bill: How old are you today?

Frank: 68.

Bill: 68. Did you like Selinsgrove when you first got here?

Frank: Yeah.

Bill: You did? Right away?

Frank: Not right away. It took time. It took time to get... sometimes I liked it, sometimes I hate it. That was many moons ago.

Bill: Are their people here now who were there then?

Frank: Yeah, them people are long gone.

Bill: How long would you like to continue living here?

Frank: Long time.

Bill: You like living here?

Frank: Yeah. Bill: What makes you happiest, do you think?

Frank: Things to do.

Bill: You have a workshop, right?

Frank: Yeah.

Bill: When do you work in your workshop?

Frank: In my spare time

Bill: Will you work there today when we’re finished?

Frank: No today, I’ll take a break today. ‘Cause it was a big day.

Bill: Yeah it was a big day. What do you do in your workshop?

Frank: Make… make stuff.

Bill: Mmm hmm

Frank: I get the extra kits from Lowe’s and I play with them.

Bill: Oh, you get the extra kits.

Frank: Yeah, but when I don’t have any I just do other things then.

Bill: Every week you go to the mall.

Frank: Yeah

Bill: And what do you do when you go to the mall?

Frank: Look around. Go to Sears.

Bill: Why Sears? What do you like about Sears?

Frank: Their tools.

Bill: Their tools?

Frank: Yeah.

Bill: I love tools too.

Frank: Yeah. Bill: Do you like electric tools or the hand tools?

Frank: Hand tools.

Bill: And do you have some of them?

Frank: Oh yeah.

Bill: You work in the garage?

Frank: Yeah.

Bill: OK. What do you do there?

Frank: Grease and oil change.

Bill: On, like, trucks and things?

Frank: Yeah.

Bill: So is that when you get to use your sockets and tools and so forth?

Frank: Yeah.

Frank: Oh, there she is.

Bill: Hi, Sandy.

Sandy: Are you gonna show them your workshop?

Frank: Yeah.

Bill: Yeah.

Sandy: Tomorrow’s his big day. He has his mall trip. Every Sunday he goes to the mall for three hours.

Frank: Yeah, we were talking about it.

Sandy: So he likes that.

Bill: Frank was telling me that the favorite – his favorite department at Lowes is hardware.

Frank: Yeah. Sandy: He’s got every tool.

Bill: It’s my favorite department, too.

Sandy: We have to inventory their, you know, possessions…

Bill: Oh, yeah.

Sandy: yearly, and I had to have the guy that is my counterpart on second shift do that, ‘cause it’s like I don’t know what these things even are.

Bill: Oh, ‘cause there were things you bought at Lowes?

Frank: Yeah, you got that!

Sandy: Yeah.

Bill: Whoa, this is your room?

Frank: Yeah, this part.

Bill: Nice. What a TV. Holy cow!

Frank: And here’s pictures of us.

Bill: Yeah, who are these people?

Frank: Well, these are other friends of mine.

Bill: Uh-huh.

Frank: And this is another friend of mine, and he worked at Lowe’s when that was taken.

Bill: Oh, okay.

Frank: This is at Lowe’s I can see it from there.

Bill: Yep. Lowe’s Career Paths, right.

Frank: Yeah.

Bill: Yeah. And there he is again, right?

Frank: Yeah.

Bill: That’s the same young man, isn’t it?

Frank: Yep. Yeah. Bill: What’s his name, Frank?

Frank: Travis.

Bill: Nice.
