Elect Go Team Officer- Vice President

Notes: There were no volunteers or nominees for Vice Chair. Jasmine Strickland made a motion to table the nomination until the next meeting. The GO Team Vice Chair will be voted on at the next meeting on November 29. Discussion Items

Notes:

Tracie Astin suggested that the GO Team meeting schedule should remain tentative and add that it is subject to change due to the time constraints. Jasmine Strickland made a motion to keep the schedule as is and note that the times and dates are subject to change upon prior notice. The team also received an update on the status of the GO Team public comment format. Noletha High stated that Adamsville was the school that is currently utilizing Google docs on their Go Team website as a means for public comment and that she would work with Perkerson to assist in creating a Google doc. It was also mentioned that a call –in line could be used for public comment. Jasmine Strickland stated that she would work on making a google doc after reviewing Adamsville’s GO Team page.

Information Items

Notes: The team received training on how to complete strategic planning, which was presented by Travis Norvell. The team brainstormed on actions that could be placed into the school’s strategic plan. Tracie Astin stated that she would take the items to the school’s next leadership team meeting for their input. After having the meeting with the leadership team Tracie Astin will send a draft of the strategic plan to the GO Team members by Tuesday, November 15; the plan will contain the input of the leadership team.
