Offensively  The total package of a player ready for the next level.  He possesses speed and agility with or without the puck.  Drives the puck through the neutral zone with speed always looking for teammates for open shots.

Defensively  Back checks very well with speed.  Able to create neutral zone and defensive turnovers and create chances with the puck.  Makes a very good first pass in the neutral zone to players on the other side of the ice.  Able to quarterback the power play as effectively as any junior. He is very smart shooting the puck from the left side of the ice and makes good passes resulting in getting opponent penalty killers out of position. Also capable of blocking shots on the penalty kill.

Skating  Solid skater in the offensive, defensive and neutral zones.

Overall  Unquestionably the most talented offensive defenseman in the tournament and possibly in his whole age group.  Does he need to work on his slap shot and strength will be a question at the next level. Should be able to work on his strength to become even a stronger forward on the ice.  Can be a power play specialist at the next level and give good offense from the wings which every team can use. Projected to go top twenty in 2010 NHL draft according to International Scouting Services. His abilities are parallel to John Tavares of the New York Islanders.
