Instructions for Setting up a 20 X 30 Canopy

Instructions for setting up a 20’ x 20’ Canopy.

1. Check to see that all parts are present. (See equipment list.)

2. Open canopy in desired location with perimeter ropes on top. Note: Please make sure the area is not dirty, if so put down drop cloths to protect vinyl top.

3. Place ropes at a 90-degree angle from perimeter edge of canopy.

4. Drive stakes approximately 6-8 feet away from edge of canopy, in line with the ropes, 1 stake for each rope.

5. Connect the perimeter post, each post consists of 1 – 2” tipped end pole, and 1- 2” footed pole, making a total of 8 perimeter posts.

6. Place one perimeter post at each corner of the canopy, placing the remaining 4 posts at the remaining side ropes.

7. Connect the center post, each post consists of 1 – 4” top tipped pole and 1 – 4” footed pole. Save this post for later use.

8. Raise each corner, 1 at a time, by inserting the perimeter post, tipped end first into the metal grommet in vinyl and placing the rope around the stake and tightening by pulling/sliding the plastic handle towards the top of the tent until post is in upright position.

9. Once all 4 corners are up, place center post in metal grommet in middle of canopy and raise to the upright position. Once the post is raised, tie the rope hanging from the center of the canopy to the center pole. This will help keep the top of the canopy on the center post in case of a sudden gust of wind.

10. Install the remaining 4 perimeter posts along the sides of the canopy in the same fashion as the corner posts.

11. If there is any sag in the canopy, you can remedy this by tightening the ropes around the perimeter of the canopy.

12. Happy Tenting !!!

If there are any questions we have a 24 hour answering service at 330-753-9104 When you have finished using the canopy please be sure the vinyl is completely dry and clean before disassemble. Roll top in the same manner and put back in bags for return.
