Ideally 5-10 years of work experience in wine import and/or wine distribution logistics operations needed. Need strong operational logistics experience in all modes of freight / transit (3PL, ocean, rail, trucking, etc.) of fine wines and spirits, advanced computer skills, excellent follow through, and communicator to drive new initiatives within the organization. This newly-created role reports to the executive level and will work closely with the marketing / portfolio management team on procurement of fine wines from around the world. Experience in wine/alcohol beverage importing, shipping arrangements including Less than Container Load (LCL) to Full Container Load (FCL) shipping, building container mixes and allocations for multiple stock keeping units (SKUs) at a time.
