ORGANIZATIONS:

Anime Club will meet on Monday after school in room 200.

Yoga club meets on Tuesday after school in the upstairs Pickard Lobby.

Art Club will be meeting in room 420 at 3:20 pm every Tuesday.

SEA Club will meet on Tuesdays after school. Please plan to meet at 3:25 pm in room 164B.

Eco Club meets every Wednesday at 7:15am in the library.

GSA Club will be meeting on Wednesday this week.

Are you an avid reader? If so, you want to join us on Wednesday after school in the library lit lounge! Ms. DeVries and Ms. Binsfeld will tell you more about a new student advisory group called R-SAT that is beginning at Neenah High School. Members will be involved in literacy promotions at our school and in the community! Be a “voice”! Join us at 3:30 - 4:30 this Wednesday, May 6th in the media center’s lounge for a meeting

Yearbook will be meeting Wednesday after school in room 103. We will take our club picture!

Knitting Club - Meets Wednesdays at 3:30 in the Career Center. See Mrs. Uvaas with any questions.

Creative Writing Club will meet on Thursday, in room 212. See Mrs. Mettlach with any questions.

______GENERAL:

Attention Seniors: We are in the process of finalizing seating for the graduation ceremony. Please help us by letting us know if you plan to participate in the ceremony. If you do not plan to participate, please stop by Guidance and notify Mrs. Buss, Guidance Secretary or Mrs. Mueller, Registrar.

Any senior who has not picked up their cap and gown, must do so as soon as possible. Please see Mrs. Pierce at Door 3. If you still owe money, bring that. All checks should be made out to Josten's.

The high school band will take the stage for its final concert of the school year on Wednesday night in Pickard Auditorium. The event is free admission.

The 2015 Talent Show is coming up on Friday, May 8th. In Pickard Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $5.00. Attention Freshmen: Do you like to sing and dance? Auditions for the 2016 Act II Show choir will be held Monday, May 11th at 3:30 in the mirror room. Sign up sheet is located outside of the mirror room door in the music suite. Additionally, Act II show band audition sign up sheet is located outside of the band room. Any questions see Mrs. White before school or Ms. Westcott in the choir room.

Attention all Sophomores and Juniors: If you are planning on purchasing a parking permit for 2015 – 2016 school year, please pick up the “parking agreement” in the Conant office. All agreements need to be turned into the Conant office only before the end of this school year.

If any student is interested in becoming a lifeguard at the NHS Pool this summer, they can either see Mr Werner in the Activities office, or contact Ms. Kristi Kaczrouske at the pool.

There will be a “Gently Used” Sports Equipment Drive starting Monday, May 4th through Friday, May 8th to benefit the Brigade. Boxes will be placed in each office for the collection. Please see Joe Beran or Mrs. Pierce with any questions.

Note on students getting jobs – all students under the age of 18 are required to obtain a work permit after they are hired, but before they start working. Work permits cost $10.00. The student is required to have a letter from the employer, showing that they have been hired, and a parent signature somewhere on that letter, and their social security card. They should bring all these things either to City Hall in Neenah, or to the main office at the high school to obtain the permit. There are many job opportunities on the NHS jobs board outside the main office! ______CONGRATULATIONS:

Please congratulate the following students who competed in the State Finance Bowl in Milwaukee and won First Place Grand Champions out of 14 schools: Matt Bourland, Evan Thompson, Olivia Stindt, Ally Kaul.

All boys interested in playing JV or Varsity basketball next year, should show up for a meeting before school on Thursday morning. Please meet in the Einerson Fieldhouse to find out about summer opportunities to play. The meeting will start at 7:15 and will take no more then 15 minutes.

There will be a sign up meeting for all NHS girls interested in going out for the Neenah High School Girls Golf Team. The meeting will be held at Neenah High School on Wednesday, May 13th in cafeteria room 300 at 6:00 pm. Use the Pickard Auditorium Entrance which is door 4, and it’s the first room to the right.
