PARK TOWNSHIP RECREATION SOCCER – KINDER KICKERS QUICK RULES GUIDE

Field Size 35 yards long/20 yards wide Players on field SIX (includes a goalie) Roster Size ≥9 Goal size 4.5' X 9' Ball Size 3 Duration of game (4) 10 minute quarters (5 minute half time) Off Sides Not Enforced Penalty Kicks None Corner Kick Yes Free Kicks Classified as "Indirect" Throw In Hands all the way behind head, both feet on ground. One re-throw allowed. Goal Kick Opponents must be out of penalty box, ball must clear box before being touched by 2nd player. Shin Shin guard w/ socks over them are mandatory. Shoes can be either soccer cleat (no baseball Guards/shoes cleats) or tie on athletic shoe.

 At quarters  After an injury by either team (coaches must stop play first) Substitution  If needed, prior to possession throw in.

Slide Tackling Not allowed

Goalie Restart No restrictions-goalie may throw or punt the ball.

Jewelry No jewelry of any kind, hard hair barrettes or beads in hair are allowed.

Yellow Card Send player off field until next substitution & allow for player to be subbed Fouls

Send player off field for balance of game, team doesn’t play down a player, a substitution is Red Card Fouls allowed

1 coach allowed on field. No coaches in or behind the goal. Parents and teams on opposite sides. Coaches Allow 5 yard separation on sideline. Rain - Out Procedure: On game days if it is raining, teams must show up at their scheduled game time and field unless otherwise notified by their coach. The coaches will determine whether a game will or will not be played due to weather or playing field conditions. Under no circumstance will a game be started or continue to be played if a thunderstorm warning or a tornado warning has been issued by the National Weather Service or lightning is seen in the area. The safety of our players and family members is our number one concern during inclement weather.
