Biography

Hongda Wang, biophysicist, graduated from Department of Molecular Biology, Jilin University, P.R.China in 1995. Dr. Wang worked in Max-Planck-Institute fur Molekulare Physiologie (Germany) and Biodesign Institute of Arizona State University (USA) as postdoc (Supervisor, Prof. Stuart Lindsay), 2001-2007. Since 2008, Dr. Wang worked as PI in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Wang was a visiting professor in Arizona State University, 2008. Dr. Wang’s research interest is to study single molecule and single cell by molecular recognition techniques, super-resolution fluorescence microscopy (STORM) and atomic force microscopy. Recently, Dr. Wang focused on the structure of cell membranes.
