The following sentences have adverbs. The adverbs are written in bold. Underneath each sentence, rewrite the sentence with a prepositional phrase, and underline the prepositional phrase. REMEMBER: A preposition always has a noun after it, which serves as the object of the preposition.

Fill in the blank with an appropriate preposition. Underline the object of the preposition. Example It was very muddy outside, so a lot of dirt got stuck on my shoes.
