Instructions: Create a minimum 15-slide Google slides presentation about the history of a FORMER professional basketball player. The presentation should discuss the history of the player, personal background, accomplishments, failures, and anything else that you deem relevant to help someone understand the overall “story” of the player you selected.

The following players cannot be chosen because we discuss their careers in class:

George Mikan Bill Russell Wilt Chamberlain

Be sure to use at least three research sources for your project. These sources can include websites, books, magazines, journals, newspapers or interviews. Include your sources used on the final slide of your presentation.

When using Google slidess be sure to “share” the presentation with me at [email protected]

Have fun with your project and feel free to be as creative as possible. You may include stories, interesting quotes, music, video, pictures, etc., to enhance your presentation.

A title slide, reference slide, slides containing typed information, slides containing music, and slides containing video DO count towards your minimum 15 slide requirement.

However, a slide containing a picture ONLY with no typed information on it DOES NOT count towards your minimum 15 slide requirement.

Presentations will start on Monday, October 26th and will end once everyone has presented their project.

Your grade for this project will count as a 50 point summative (test) grade, and your total grade will be determined using the following guidelines.

1. Is the project completed on time and does it include at least 15 slides? ______/10 2. Does the project contain accurate historical information about your player? ______/20 3.
