PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT

 Course coordinator of the capstone strategic management class at the Robinson College of Business since 1994. I took this role at the request of the Undergraduate Program Council, which was considering dropping the course as required for graduation. I changed the syllabus, instituted a computer based simulation, developed a core faculty whose main teaching is directed toward the course, updated and increased enforcement of pre-requisite requirements, and oversaw the move from a class largely taught by Part-time Instructors to one that is almost exclusively taught by full-time faculty and strategy Ph.D. students. This course became one of the key foci in the assessment of the undergraduate curriculum during re-accreditation by AACSB in 1999.

 Developed, with the GSU Center for Executive Education, a three-day program designed to orient middle managers to strategic thinking. The Center continues to use this program extensively in Atlanta and across the US with large corporate clients of the Robinson College and I continue to work with the Center Executive Director in planning and executing these programs

 Took over the masters level course, IB 8180, Comparative Business Systems, in 1999. Works with colleges at GSU and at other schools in developing material for this new area of study. This class is slated to emerge as an important part of the programs offered by the new Institute for International Business at GSU as part of its Masters in International Business degree and as an MBA elective.
