The winning team will split the total pot with the High School Booster Group that has the highest number of participants in this event. See Rules 2B for more details.

2nd Annual Summer Days Bag Tournament Rules Saturday, August 19 – 12:30 PM start
1. There is not a rainout date for this tournament. In the event of a rainout, all entrance fees will be donated to the Booster Club Group that has the highest number of participants from their group registered for this event. See registration form. 2. There will be 2 age groups in this tournament – 14 & younger and 15 & older. Teams must be comprised of 2 players within the same age group. A) Winning team of the 14 & younger group will be awarded with a trophy B) Winning team of the 15 & older group will split all Entrance Fees with the Booster Club Group that has the highest participation in this event. Group is defined as, but not limited to Band, Track, Baseball, Golf, Football, Basketball, Drama, etc. See registration form for school and group declaration. 3. Pre-registration can be completed via email or by stopping in the Grayslake Chamber offices during normal business hours. Email your registration forms to: [email protected]. 4. Tournament format will be single elimination. To advance to the next round, the winning team must win 2 out of 3 games. 5. All courts will be standard ACA dimensions. Shorter distance will be allowed for younger age group. 6. Cancellation scoring will be used during this competition. A) Together, opposing teams will keep score and maintain timely pace of play. B) Scoring will be as follows: 1 point = Bag on board 3 points = Bag through hole C) If bag hits anything but the board and bounces/deflects onto the board, the bag must be removed prior to opponent’s next throw. 0 points will be awarded. D) First team to 21 points wins game – exceeding 21 points still counts as a win. 7. Teams will use their best judgment in assessing any infractions that come up during the course of play. Should neither team agree on how to proceed, a third party ruling will be the final decision.
