How to request a website from APLS

Fill out the attached form and email to [email protected]

Fill out this request form and email it back to the address above, along with a picture to be used on your webpage, preferred color scheme for your page.

Also send the domain name for your website along with the user Id and Password for the domain registration (your godaddy, etc. login information) This will be used for us to direct your domain name to your new page.

Internet and Computer Rules

You must sign-up at the Circulation Desk and present a current library card in good standing to use any of the Internet or Reference computers.

For all computers, children under 12 must have a parent, grandparent, or guardian with them at the computer. Those 12 to 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent, or guardian in the library. Use is limited to 1 hour, with a maximum of three hours per week.

All copies are $.10 each. You must pay for each copy you make.

 No chatrooms  No saving files to hard drive  No altering option settings  No changing bookmarks  No use of personal software  No illegal use  Misuse and/or abuse of computer Privileges will result in the loss of computer privileges.

No disks, except those purchased from the library may be used in the computers. If you wish to save documents, you must purchase a disk from the library. If you wish to re-use the disk in library computers, you must leave the disk at the circulation desk.

Collections The library has a collection of over 50,000 volumes encompassing current fiction and non-fiction, classic favorites, and out-of print materials for children, young adults, and adults.

Periodicals and Newspapers Current hardcopy magazines, journals and newspapers are available for patrons to enjoy. Back issues are available for reference and reading pleasure.

Books on Cassette Current favorites, classics, and children’s literature are available for checkout.

Videos and DVDS Educational and recreational videos may be checked out overnight for a small fee
