in person A workshop in which the presenter and the attendees are in the same room. videoconference The hosting of a broadcast of a live workshop at a county office of education (COE) location where local districts can gather to view it and interact with the presenters. Webcast A workshop, presented from a studio, that is viewed live (real time) over the Internet or from an archived file. During the live Webcast, attendees are able to submit written questions and hear the responses.

If you have any questions, contact the STAR Technical Assistance Center at 800-955-2954, or e-mail to [email protected].  Registration at the in-person workshop sites begins at 12:30; workshop presentations begin at 1:00. Because space is limited, school districts are limited to no more than two attendees, please. Priority will be given to online registrations. Please RSVP by January 7, 2011, to reserve your spot. Contact the STAR Technical Assistance Center (STAR TAC) at [email protected] to cancel your registration if you cannot attend the workshop for which you have registered. To change your workshop registration, first contact STAR TAC to cancel your existing registration, and then reregister for a different workshop.
