False-Hymers Disease

FALSE-HYMERS DISEASE

One of the infamous 39 “Garden of Eden,” slime ball questions that the Bible Corrector's Cult is now asking is as follows: "In what language did Jesus Christ (not Ruckman, Evans, nor Edwards) teach that the Old Testament would be preserved forever according to Matthew 5:18?" This question’s contention is that the scriptures were originally written in Hebrew and Greek, and the Bible Correctors’ cult uses this passage, due to the "jot" and "tittle," as a proof-text. If this proof-text proves their contention that the original scriptures were written in Hebrew and that only the Hebrew Scriptures are to be preserved, then there is no hope for the Greek scriptures. They cannot have their cake and eat it too! As for the "jot" and the "tittle," they are Greek terms not Hebrew terms. The Greek letter "iota," (ninth letter of the Greek alphabet) underlies the "jot," and a Greek word signifying the horn, apex, or point (of a letter? some say a Hebrew character) underlies the "tittle." Our objection is a good one, for what does the Greek letter "iota" have to do with the Old Testament or the "law?” Was the law written in Greek? Luther rendered the "iota" as “Buchstabe” or "letter" of the alphabet. English has letters; English and Greek both have an "i" as its smallest letter. A Greek horn, apex, or point might also apply to Chaldean or other Eastern languages or even Greek or English. Was the law written in these languages? Jesus also said that His "words" would not pass away (Luke 21:33). If we are not mistaken, English has "words" as do both Hebrew and Greek! Now, if we accept the argument that Jesus spoke in Hebrew and Aramaic and was referring to the Hebrew "yod(h)" and the sharp horn or point at the top of the character and that the "yod(h)" was "translated" into the "original" Greek as an "iota," the implication is quite stunning. If the Greek "Iota" can be put for the Hebrew "yod(h)," then the English "i" can be put for the Greek "Iota." (Mercy!) The problems continue to mount for those who are suffering from "FALSE-HYMERS" disease (Bible Correcting)!!! Yet, why do not Hebrew letters and words underlie these words, rather than Greek letters and words? Methinks this question backfireth on thee. Still, for the sacred language advocates, thou mightest note that Hebrew is a Canaanite language. How dost thou feelest about Hebrew being an inspired Canaanite language? (*See note below).
