Project: Spanish-speaking Countries

Pretend that you are a travel agent, and your client wants to visit a Spanish-speaking country. Advertise one Spanish-speaking country to your client.

1. Choose a Spanish-speaking country. (Sra. Panter assigned you one)

2. Research your Spanish-speaking country. a. Find at least five facts about your country. b. Find at least two cities for your client to visit in your country. c. Find at least three fun activities for your client to do on their visit in your country. d. Geographical location of country. (Ex: on the Pacific coast in South America) e. At least one historical place to visit f. Include two pictures that represent the country in some way. (may be printed or hand-drawn)

3. Illustrate the flag of the Spanish-speaking country. Use the actual colors of the flag.

4. Make a poster board (22”x28”) that includes all of your research and the flag for your country. a. Poster board may be any color. b. Use at least three different colors on your poster board (not including black, white, and gray) c. Do not use pencil. d. Be creative!! e. Write your name and class period on the back of the poster.

5. The project is due on Friday, September 19. You will be required to present it to the class.

6. The project will be graded as follows : a. Five facts 20 points e. 1 historical place 10 points b. Two Cities 20 points f. Flag 15 points c. Three fun activities 30 points g. 2 pictures 10 points d. Location of country 5 points h.
