Staff room / Rest Room facilities Available - but please note there are no large storage facilities for any staff, and from September 2012 all staff will be ‘Hot-Desking’. Permanent staff storage space is strictly limited to one box/ locker per staff member. Library / IT Resources RiO R1 available

Induction / Orientation Induction to the building and location via Admin. team staff Programmes Welcome Folder There is a resources pack available on site but not a welcome pack , as the service is in a state of change at present and it is not possible to reflect the pace of change. Student Tutorial / Seminar The service runs a regular education forum for staff and students Programme (if available) Prior recommended reading / NICE guidelines, Treatment of Depression/Anxiety, Schizophrenia, websites / resources Bi Polar, Borderline Personality Disorder. Trust Policy, lone working policy. Department of Health Policies. New Horizons, No Health for Mental Health. Sainsbury site for mental health. Common assessments / Needs and Risk Assessment, including CPA Reviews, ongoing interventions / procedures / assessment and monitoring of mental health symptoms. Caseload treatments / evaluations Management, Depots, observe and administer. Attend Clozaril Clinic. Chair Team Meetings, contribute to weekly duty rota, referrals to community services, ie Mind, Richmond Fellowship. Attend Care Management Panel, Attend Ward rounds. Recording information using current data protocols on Rio, in accordance with Information Governance protocols. Common conditions seen Serious Mental Illnesses such as Bi-polar Disorder, Schizophrenia and Borderline Personality Disorder Specific areas of expertise/clinical Gateway Assessment (A2i – Assessment to Intervention, MDT skills which students can daily meetings, Weekly business meetings, Crisis Meetings, observe / learn from / Practice Clinical Emergency Assessments, Care Programme Approach (CPA) Process as a care and treatment tool.
