Prayer Ministry Members of the Church’s Prayer Ministry Team are available in the Prayer Chapel following morning worship for anyone who would like people to pray for them. Prayer is available to everyone whether you are a church member or not.

Today There is a joint meeting of the Kirk Session and Board of Management following the Morning Service at 1.00pm in the Minor Hall.

Sunday Night Live including Holy Communion starts at 7.00pm and Gordon Campbell will speak from Philippians 2.5-11.

Sunday 10th November Sunday Morning Worship (Remembrance Sunday) starts at 11.00am and Gordon Campbell will speak on Psalm 25. The Prayer Ministry Team meet at 5.30pm in Wilson House. Sunday Night Live starts at 7.00pm and Gary McDowell will speak from Philippians 2.12-18.

Prayer for people This week please pray for those in our congregation family who are in hospital, or in need of prayer. Especially Billy, Stan, Jenny, Rosemary, Robert, Colin, Eileen, Tom and Joan. Prayer for Others – Overseas FEBA (Far East Broadcasting Associates) William Mateer, FEBA Ireland Ambassador, requests the following: UK Office: Give thanks for new members of our International Partnership Team joining us this month; we have been very blessed by the calibre of people God has brought us, to enable our work to be more effective in our areas of operation. Ask God to guide Hannah, Stephanie, Helena and Diane who will be joining Kathryn, Stephen and Peter as they engage with current and prospective partners in the field.

Africa: Thank God for the on-going work in Mozambique as we establish our Radio Wimbi station, pray that the new team will work well together and be an effective witness to the local community when broadcasts start at the end of this year.

Asia: Thank God for new opportunities to make a difference in people daily lives in Orissa, India and Pakistan. Pray that God will speak to people as they listen to our broadcasts in their own language and that they will be encouraged by what they hear.

Middle East: Pray that our ‘Hope for Syria’ programmes, which are now being broadcast via shortwave, will speak to the many thousands of people suffering inside and outside Syria. Thank God for this opportunity to share God’s love with many hurting people especially as the temperatures begin to drop over the next few weeks.

CHURCH NOTICES

Pledge Cards have been given to all members of the congregation. Additional cards and envelopes are available at the rear of the church today. Please complete your Pledge Card today, if you have not already done so and place in the Pledge Card Return Box.

Monday 4th November First Class Fitness meet each Monday evening from 7.00 to 8.00pm in the Church Halls. (HIIT) Circuits, Burn Fat, Build Muscle, Tone Up. Most Important……enjoy it and have FUN!!Cost - £4 per person Please contact Kenny Crawford for more information on 07540546039. There is a Session Meeting at 7.30pm in the Parlour Tuesday 5th November The Babies & Toddlers Group starts at 10.00am and meet in the Minor Hall. The Ladies Badminton Club starts at 10.00am in the Musgrave Hall. Over 18 Badminton Club starts at 7.30pm in the Musgrave Hall. The Net meet at 8pm. Youth Alpha continues 7pm in the Youth Room.

Wednesday 6th November The Wednesday Table Tennis Group continue to meet each week 10am-12noon. New members will be made most welcome. The Wednesday Club including lunch meets at 10.00am. The Indoor Bowling Club meets in the Musgrave Hall at 7.30pm. A welcome awaits you. No experience required. For more information contact Eddie Rice or Raymond Liggett. Choir Practice begins at 7.45pm meeting in the Parlour. Dance & Football groups Our new after schools’ groups continues on Wednesday from 3.30-5pm. For more information, speak to Cherith McKeown (Intern) or Gary Farquhar (Youth ministry student).

Thursday 7th November Student Lunches continue on Thursday from 12-2pm in the halls. Girls and Boys Brigade continues tonight at 6.30pm.

Friday 8th November The Friday Morning Congregational Prayer Meeting starts at 7.30am in Wilson House, which is open to everyone to attend. The prayer meeting will finish at 8.15am, however if you have to leave earlier that is fine. Youth Club continues tonight from 7-9pm.

SMALL GROUPS Small Groups meet fortnightly, mostly in homes across Belfast. For information about Small Groups in Fisherwick check out the information boards beside the Coffee Bar, the website or contact the Church Office. The Small group Co- Ordinators are Peter and Linda Little. LITTLE FISHES Little Fishes is in the parlour. It is a place for parents to leave their babies and toddlers during the church service. There are supervised activities, toys and a snack time. There is also a designated baby area with a protective screen with a crèche leader supervising. The co-ordinator is Lynne Guiney. Rota below:
